Boy, this sign was a welcome sight after 18 hours of travel that took our crew from Trondheim to Stravanger to London and then over the pond to Halifax.

First things first: Duane Barker from the Huntsman Marine Science Centre in St. Andrews NB heads to Starbucks for a badly-needed coffee. One more flight until he’s home.

We did see a few cool things on the way home.

St. Andrews Mayor Stan Choptiany tries out this comfy chair in the Trondheim airport. We need these at our airport in Saint John!

As we flew into Stravangar, we got a great view of Norway’s coastline and some of its salmon farms. Luckily Duane Barker had a camera handy.

There were lots of sad goodbyes as our crew members departed for their various destinations. We have lots of people to thank for a terrific Mission and some reflections to make on lessons learned……but that post will have to wait until this blogger gets a little sleep. Stay tuned!
